Intel ACPI Driver Installation for Windows Operating System

Kabylake Platform Support

This package contains the ACPI Driver required for Windows operating systems on Kabylake platform products. It is important to note that Intel recommends using only Skylake processors with Windows 7.

Windows 7 Compatibility

Unfortunately, there is no 32-bit Windows 7 driver for the ACPIMSFT0101 device on the Kabylake platform. However, if you switch to Windows 7 64-bit, you can install the Microsoft hotfix provided in the attached zip file.

Hotfix Installation

To install the device driver, follow these steps:

1. Run the downloaded hotfix.
2. Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Device security.
3. Under Security processor, select Security processor details.
4. Select Security processor troubleshooting.
5. Enter your device's model number in the search bar.
6. Once you've identified your device, download and install the appropriate driver.

AMD HDMI Audio Driver

It is unclear why the AMD HDMI audio driver is included in the package. Please disregard this driver if you are not experiencing any audio issues.
